Anduriel Widmark is a visual artist working with mathematical art and geometric glass sculpture, where, symmetry, structure, and material come together. Anduriel’s work is included in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Mathematics (NY), the Seattle Universal Math Museum (WA), the Stourbridge Glass Museum (UK), the Museum of Glass (WA), the American Glass Museum (WV), the Sandwich Glass Museum (MA), as well as many other prominent private collections. Throughout childhood, Anduriel was attracted to the elegance and beauty in geometric patterns and over time has found ways to explore these interests with mathematics and art. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a concentration in painting, from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He frequently exhibits internationally, including at the Bridges Math Art conferences, and the Mathematical Association of America. His bright paintings and glass sculptures materialize abstract forms with energetic interweaving lines, celebrating the patterns that create our world.
